"I emailed Rich at Matsen Painting a few months back for an estimate for some internal and external painting I needed to get done. Boy, was I surprised when Rich wrote back and asked that we speak or meet in person right away to get some details hammered out. Within 24 hours Rich had come by, provided (very reasonable) estimates on the projects that I offered up and even offered to help my wife pick out colors. When painting day rolled around, Rich was did a fantastic job. You really could not pick out an easier going, friendlier, or more reasonably prices painting outfit. Did I mention trustworthy? After meeting with him, my wife and were so comfortable with Rich, we had no problem leaving for work and coming back in the afternoon. There he was, still painting away, making our home beautiful. When I had some special circumstances with my funding you were very flexible in working with me to propose something that met both my painting needs and budget.
You took the extra time to come out repeatedly with samples to treat one board so that I could choose a color. And when there was ultimately an error in mixing at the paint store you immediately saw that not only was the error corrected but I ended up with repainting done at no cost to me. Matsen Painting has an "A+" rating with the BBB and deserves it. From paper removal to wall repair to texturizing to color selection, Rich Matsen settles for nothing less than perfection. His work is meticulous and work ethic beyond reproach. This job was not without it's challenges. My home is sixty-one years old with rock-lath and plaster. In several rooms we had plaster give way as Rich was repairing cracks in both walls and ceilings. His repair of those areas was flawless. You absolutely can not tell where the problem areas were.
