Paint is not bullet proof!

I am always asked to use a washable or scrubbable paint product that is not to shiny.  The majority of our interior paint jobs are painted with an egg- shell finish (medium sheen or shine).  This is a durable finish with a tough enough sheen to handle light abuse from kids or small animals.  The main thing I like to point out to my customers is never to wash the walls within 30 days of the paint job completion.  Most people are suprised to hear that paint takes up to 30 days to cure or harden completely.

I like to use a flat finish for ceilings and light traffic areas.  Flat is the most appeling finish to me, but the least durable and the least funtional with kids and pets.  So we rarely recommend it for our customers.

Plese keep in mind that paint is not bullet proof, so keep that paint that we leave behind handy, you never know when you may need it.
